The 2021 League of Legends Free Agency is about to kick in from 15th November but it does not bring good news for Cloud9’s mid laner, Perkz this season. Perkz was all set to trigger the buyout clause this offseason and make a move to Fnatic but unfortunately, Riot Games revealed due to some restrictions Perkz would not be able to complete the move.
As per the restrictions, he would not be able to pursue any deals with Fnatic for the next three years. This is possible due to the Riot Games outdated rules that are in place that enables League of Legends teams to prohibit potential landing spots for players. To rectify this, Riot has given Perkz a green light to go against the trade restrictions and plans to update the rules to avoid future restrictions such as this one.
