Prepping for the 2023 LPL Summer Split, LNG acquires a previous MSI MVP

The LPL is the first significant League of Legends region to begin the 2023 Summer Split on May 29. It will be less than a week until China's top players return to Summoner's Rift in pursuit of a new champion. Thus LNG has added Chen "GALA" Wei, a former MSI MVP AD carry, to its team. GALA departed RNG just two days ago after putting in three years with the team. A Worlds 2022 run from the play-in tournament all the way to the quarterfinals occurred during the three-year stretch that also saw an MSI victory and MVP in 2021. GALA solidified his position as one of the top ADCs in the world throughout that run.

In addition, LNG possesses some of the most interesting young junglers in Lee "Tarzan" Seung-yong and former EDward Gaming mid laner Lee "Scout" Ye-chan. When GALA joins LNG, a three-headed monster with tremendous upside talent and world championship pedigree emerges.
