Rogue Warriors pull off a big upset over Invictus Gaming

Rogue Warriors took down the 2018 World Champions on the first day of Week 5 to mark a great start. Invictus Gaming could not find their form against Rogue Warriors and let them win. IG had recently seemed lethal when they took down FPX last week but losing to a team that is ranked at the bottom of the standings does not bode well. IG was expected to win the fight but with two consecutive losses, Rogue Warriors were able to successfully pull off a reverse sweep instead.

The MVP votes went to AD carry Betty and top laner Zhu “Zdz” De-Zhang. Betty worked hard to level the series with Varus and Zdz played Sett and with better performance on team fights they picked up the win. Both the wins for Rogue came after IG had pulled off a win in the first match within 23 minutes. RW would take on Bilibili Gaming next who are 3-4 in the season.
