Song “Rookie” Eui-jin signs with Victory Five

The former world champion, mid laner Song “Rookie” Eui-jin has signed a contract with Victory Five and moves to a new home for the 2022 LPL Spring Split. Rookie spent the last six years with Invictus Gaming and now completes a move to Victory Five with China’s residency as well which means he would not take an import slot on any LPL teams.

Rookie started his career in LCK with KT Rolster Arrows but soon shifted to LPL and started playing for Invictus Gaming in 2014, over the years Rookie and Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok became key players for IG and played a big role in their 2018 World Championship run and led the first LPL team to a Worlds title. The veteran player now becomes a part of the Victory Five roster and joins Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuan, Ying “Photic” Qi-Shen, and Guo “ppgod” Peng.
