T1 denied 100Thieves a win as North America remains winless

2021 World Championship has moved to the group stage and North American teams have a hard time on Day 3 as they remain winless. In the end, there were huge hopes from 100T but T1 wanted to maintain the winless streak and denied 100T a win. Things looked good for 100 Thieves before the match after they defeated DetonatioN FocusMe the day before, they were the last hope for the region that saw Cloud9 and Team Liquid thrashed by DWG KIA and Gen.G.

T1 though turned out to be the superior team as LCS champions ended up being down by 10,000 gold by 20 minutes. T1’s young top laner Canna then turned the team fights in their favor with seven kills, five assists, and no deaths. The tournament now goes on a one-day break and would resume play on Oct. 15.
