T1 might make history in Worlds 2022

The clash between T1 and DRX this weekend will feature numerous tales that have the potential to go down in history, including one coach who might leave his mark with a victory for the guys in red. Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong, the team's interim head coach, might become the first individual to win the competition as both a player and a coach if T1 is successful in bringing home the Summoner's Cup.

Since ending his professional career in 2017, Bengi has served as a League coach. The 28-year-old most recently represented Vici Gaming in the LPL, but his time with SK Telecom T1 from 2013 to 2016 is what made him famous. Along with iconic players like Bang, Wolf, Duke, Impact, and the best of all time, Faker, he captured three World Championships during that time.
