T1 will be without the GOAT for a little while longer, it appears

Legendary T1 mid laner Faker has been sidelined for the entire month of July due to an arm injury he sustained on July 2. He has missed the team's previous five League of Legends games, including today's 2-0 loss against Hanwha Life Esports. Faker has played for T1 for 11 years.  The team had targeted a two-week window for Faker's return to the spotlight, with the match against Hanwha Life being the earliest series that Faker may have been back in the mix. Originally, Faker was slated to make his comeback today. However, Faker was nowhere to be found today as mid lane replacement Poby participated in the team's sixth straight game while Faker remained injured.

Faker's return date has been delayed, and it's doubtful that he will be ready to play for T1 during the regular season in 2023.
