LCS mid laner Jensen and Team Liquid part ways a year in after he signed a three-year extension with the organization which was worth $4 million. Joining the side at the start of the 2019 LCS season, he helped the team win two LCS split titles and make three back-to-back Worlds appearances alongwith a second-place finish at the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational.
Liquid started the 2021 season in an ideal manner winning the season-opening LCS Lock-In event but then their performance dwindled later in the year and we saw lackluster results at the Worlds as well. Following that Jensen had commented that he might not be part of the 2022 roster and now the North American team has made the official announcement in this regard.
