The GOAT is taking a step back

Players have had to put in insane hours ever since League of Legends competition began in order to excel among their peers. These gifted people may occasionally require a break, even with enough rest and physical training, even the best of all time, T1's legendary mid laner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok.

The 27-year-old veteran is temporarily being replaced in the starting lineup after the organisation recently revealed that he will be taking a break. Given that most of the teams are just one game apart, T1's absence of Faker for two weeks may create some movement in the standings. Any defeats might cause the squad to go into a slump before the split's closing weeks, with teams like Dplus KIA, Hanwha Life Esports, and Kwangdong Freecs only a maximum of two games away from T1.
