League of Legends fans should mark their calendars. The LPL is set to return with its Spring Split on 9 January 2021. It will begin at 3 am CT.  Riot Games disclosed this information today on Weibo.

The Chinese competition will accumulate 17 squads to compete for the crown. Ahead of the season, many teams overtook their rosters. Not only this, some of them even changed their brands. It included FunPlus Phoenix’s ameliorating of its logo.  And also, Dominus Esports, which was renamed TT. Some major transfers also took place. One of the most important transfers was of Tarzan, a popular LCK jungler who joined LPL team LNG.

The LPL’s most recent display was the 2020 All-Star event. It took place on 1st January and 2nd January. It featured several entertainment matches and an awards ceremony. Special attention was put on Suning’s SofM. He was the one who earned three titles: Best Foreign Player, Most Valuable Player, and Best Jungler.
