Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black has retired from the competitive scene

After a 10-year stint at the game's top level of play, the two-time LCS champion and former league MVP stated that he will no longer be playing League competitively. Aphromoo said in a video release today, "I wish I could keep going, but I just think it's time." "My body and mind are essentially just telling me that the moment has come. I'm through. I can leave League of Legends with pride in what I accomplished there, and I know I had fun. Fun was had.

When the league originally began in 2013, Aphromoo made his LCS debut. Since then, he has participated in almost all splits (with the exception of Summer 2013), spending four years with Counter Logic Gaming before concluding his career with 100 Thieves, Dignitas, and FlyQuest.
