Eren Dinkçi will join SC Freiburg from Werder Bremen at the end of the season

On Thursday, the Breisgau club confirmed the signing of the 22-year-old forward, who is currently on loan at Heidenheim.

"Those in charge at Freiburg approached me pretty early on and made me feel good from the start. I already knew then that I wanted to go down this path," Erin Dinkçi said.

"I believe I’ve just got a flow and I’d like to take this with me to Freiburg. I’ve played here with Werder previously and things went well at the ground. I’m really looking forward to this atmosphere."

Freiburg sporting director Klemens Hartenbach describes Dinkci as a player with "a really exciting and flexible profile".

"This is reflected in qualities such as pace and a good understanding of the game, as well as his shooting quality," he added.
