Fulham beats West Ham thanks to a brace from Andreas Pereira

West Ham were hoping to rebound from their 2-0 Europa League loss to Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night, but Pereira scored twice for Marco Silva's team to clinch all three points for the visitors. Fulham have risen to 12th place in the Premier League rankings, while West Ham remain eighth, two points behind seventh-placed Manchester United. West Ham had an opportunity to take the lead in the fourth minute when Bernd Leno pushed a shot from Vladimir Coufal right into the feet of Michail Antonio, who blasted over the crossbar.

Lucas Paqueta then hit the side netting in the following stretch, with West Ham leading early on, but it was Fulham who broke the deadlock in the ninth minute via Pereira. Fulham extended their lead in the 72nd minute, with Pereira scoring his second goal of the game, turning a low Iwobi cross into the back of the net.
