Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz undergoes foot surgery

Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz has undergone successful surgery to repair a fracture in his left foot and will begin rehabilitation immediately, the club confirmed on Monday. The Turkish international was forced off during the Serie A opener against Frosinone on August 23, prompting medical checks that revealed a break at the base of the fifth metatarsal. Juventus said the osteosynthesis procedure “was a complete success”, allowing the 21‑year‑old to start his recovery program on Tuesday.

Italian media report that Yildiz is expected to miss several weeks, dealing an untimely setback for a team that opened the season with two straight wins. His absence comes ahead of a key early‑season test, with Juventus set to host AC Milan on Sunday. Yildiz had been tipped for a prominent role this year, making the injury particularly frustrating for both player and club as they navigate the first phase of the campaign.
