Keeping the COVID cash strain in mind Neymar, Martinez deals have been ruled out

Barcelona was pretty confident of making a major play for Inter striker Martinez during the closing season before the coronavirus pandemic.  They also portrayed keen interest to bring back Neymar from Pari Saint-Germain. However, the COVID-19 had a negative impact overall the sectors and sports world is not untouched. Leagues have been canceled and games played in closed down areas once the situation gets back to normal. Barcelona might have revealed interests to sign Martinez but the plan has been changed as the club is now rethinking its strategy to bring in more young talent. According to the club president Josep Maria Bartomeu, they are not looking forward to any large investments at the moment, considering the present situation.
