Liverpool have got off to a good start

Liverpool hasn't exactly had a poor start to the year; they're in the top four and have a significant lead over groups like Manchester United and Newcastle who, theoretically, might endanger their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League again. However, as seen by the three-point difference at the top, they have been far from faultless. They might need to make adjustments if they want to guarantee that they reclaim their place at Europe's top table.

Despite the fact that all of Fabinho, James Milner, and Naby Keta's exits were justified, they are now just left with Wataru Endo, a summer addition, as a true defensive midfield alternative. The 30-year-old Japan international, though, has struggled to secure his position despite the lack of opposition, starting only one game since his arrival. Since August, Jürgen Klopp has only seen fit to use him for 22 minutes.
