Madrid to eliminate City not because of fitness, but of attitude, says Ancelotti

Madrid passed their visit to Son Moix with flying colours. Tchouameni, who will not be in Manchester next Wednesday for the decisive clash against City in the Champions League, scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over Mallorca.

Ancelotti, already in the press room, said that he expected a "complicated game" against Mallorca due to the commitment of Javier Aguirre's players.

The Italian coach saw his team slow in the first half, but in the second he said they showed a "very high level" in a match he described as "very demanding".

On the numerous chances missed by his players, Ancelotti commented that if you don't score, the opponent ends up "punishing you", although "fortunately" this time it wasn't like that, also because Madrid were "very solid ".

The Italian coach highlighted his team's "fight" and commitment, just a few days away from deciding their Champions future against City.
