Nantes beat Nice 2-1

Antoine Kombouaré's second stint at Nantes got off to a good start as Les Canaris quickly took the lead thanks to a powerful header from Mathias Abline and a wonderful cross from Kelvin Almian (18'). When Evan Guessand was fouled in the box, VAR awarded a penalty, forcing Nice to wait until the second half to tie the score. For Les Aiglons, Terem Moffi stepped up to convert from the spot (70').

After a foul on Abline in the box, Nantes was awarded a penalty that would allow Mustafa Mohamed to give the team a lead again. The Egyptian striker scored the goal, and Nantes went on to win for the first time under their new (old) manager and since February. Les Canaris moves away from the relegation zone as a result of the victory.
