Christophe Galtier's PSG this Friday kick off pre-season with their first pre-season game. The French side will face modest Quevily-Rouen Metropole in a game which Neymar will be absent for.
The Brazilian is starting this season in a very similar vain to the rest of the seasons, in other words, with injuries as protagonists. On this occasion, a blow to the hip is the reason he will be unavailable for the opener.
According to 'L'Equipe', it is not a concerning injury. However, as a mere precaution, PSG's medical services have decided to keep him and prevent possible setbacks by leaving him out of the first friendly.
In addition, the cited source adds that ths injury will not stop him going on the pre-season tour of Japan which the team will go on in the coming days. In Japan, Galtier's side have four friendlies planned.
