PSG and Liverpool strike €140m Barcola deal

PSG and Liverpool have reached an agreement in principle for Bradley Barcola in a deal that could rise to €140 million with performance‑related add‑ons. The breakthrough comes after several weeks of negotiations, during which Liverpool first secured the player’s approval and then convinced Paris to soften their initial stance. PSG had long valued Barcola at €170 million, and according to The Athletic, the final package will not fall below €100 million, potentially climbing to €140 million once bonuses are included.

The move is set to become the most lucrative sale in the history of both PSG and Ligue 1, surpassing the €90 million paid by Al‑Hilal for Neymar. Barcola leaves Paris after three seasons in which he established himself as one of Europe’s most coveted young forwards, collecting two Champions League titles along the way. For Liverpool, the deal represents a major coup in their long‑term attacking rebuild.
