Robertson admits Scots must improve at Euros after Netherlands collapse

Andy Robertson wants Scotland to improve before the European Championships in the summer after losing 4-0 to the Netherlands in a friendly. He told Viaplay: "You can't come away to these big teams and play the way we did. We have to take heart from the 60, 70 minutes but the last 20 minutes is not how we want to play. When you go to major tournaments then you have to be a lot better than that.

Steve Clarke's side were competitive throughout but a late collapse led to a damaging scoreline.

Netherlands were clinical in the final third as Gini Wijnaldum, Wout Weghorst and Donyell Malen's second-half goals added on to Tijiani Reijnders' early long-range strike.

Despite the convincing nature of the scoreline, Ronald Koeman admitted that: "During the first hour the Scottish team were the better team, they created more chances to score".
