Valencia beat Osasuna 1-0

Before Valencia's excellent opportunity was created by Osasuna goalkeeper Sergio Herrera, the first twenty-five minutes were uneventful. Moments later, this purple patch for Los Ches came dangerously close to yielding a second, but Herrera stopped Jesus Vazquez's close-range attempt. The home team had some time to settle into a rhythm, but ten minutes before halftime, Moi Gómez was spotted on the outside of the box and his deflected shot struck the post, leaving Giorgi Mamardashvili caught off guard in the Valencia goal.
