The Cleveland Cavaliers have been defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks despite an explosive start. The Cavs got thrashed by the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night, 113-98. The Cleveland Cavaliers losing streak is now five.
Initiated by the comeback of All-Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell, who did not participate in Sunday’s defeat because of an ankle strain, the Cavs started off with 37 points in the first quarter, drawing a season-high for points in an opening quarter. Mitchell contributed with 6 of those, one less of his highest first-quarter point total during an already brilliant career. Yet, somehow the Cavs tumbled into the halftime locker room trailing by one, and emerged as a totally different squad–not in a great manner either. The third quarter was destructive as the Bucks tore apart their soft defense.
