The Boston Celtics have endured a hurtful blow ahead of their November 27 competition against the Washington Wizards, as Jayson Tatum has been barred out with an ankle sprain. Jayson Tatum has missed several games because of a left ankle sprain. Tatum was listed as questionable heading into Boston’s game against the Dallas Mavericks, although he did eventually end up playing in that game.
Talking to the media after Tatum’s brilliant performance against Luka Doncic and the Mavericks, Jaylen Brown lightly joked that Tatum was always going to take part in that game due to being matched up against fellow MVP candidate Doncic. “He was gonna play,” Brown remarked. “He knew who he was matched up with. He had that game circled. Don’t let him fool y’all. He was playing the whole time.” Unfortunately, Tatum will miss out on the chance to face off against close friend, Bradley Beal.
