Warriors took down Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6, and they lift their fourth NBA title in eight years. Warriors become the NBA champions once more as the franchise's seventh championship overall. Stephen Curry scored 34 points for the team and even won the NBA Finals MVP at TD Garden in Boston.
Golden State Warriors under Steve Kerr have done exceptionally well and Kerr also became the sixth coach to record four titles with a team and joins the exclusive list of Phil Jackson, Red Auerbach, John Kundla, Gregg Popovich, and Pat Riley. Celtics pushed towards a tie with Jaylen Brown and Al Horford scoring 34 and 19 points respectively but could not rein in Warriors. At one point Boston was down by as many as 22 points and Warriors never once trailed behind.
