Miami Heat forward Markieff Morris missed around 23 games straight after taking a hit to the back from Nikola Jokic over a month-and-a-half ago. His comeback was ruled doubtful this season after such a serious blow. Even Heat has not been able to provide an exact date for his return as he is just ruled out on a game-by-game basis with no return date in sight. Morris recently made an update regarding his injury hitting that he would be back on the court soon.
Heat lack some depth in the squad with star Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler also missing matches and PJ Tucker and Dewayne Dedmon injured Miami does not have enough arsenal left in their squad. Heat has been relying on rookie Omer Yurtseven and 41-year-old Udonis Haslem in the frontcourt at the moment and could put Morris to good use.
