Minnesota Timberwolves pulled away 112-99 win against the Philadelphia 76ers

In a compelling matchup, the Minnesota Timberwolves secured a 112-99 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Anthony Edwards showcased his scoring prowess with an impressive 31 points, complemented by Karl-Anthony Towns, who contributed 23 points and 11 rebounds. The 76ers, notably missing MVP center Joel Embiid due to left hip soreness, also faced the absence of Kelly Oubre Jr. with a fractured rib.

Minnesota capitalized on the Sixers' weakened frontcourt, with the dynamic duo of Towns and Rudy Gobert causing problems. Gobert recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Despite missing forward Jaden McDaniels, sidelined for two to three weeks with a Grade 1 right lateral ankle sprain, the Timberwolves extended their winning streak to three and secured their 10th win in 11 games. Marcus Morris Sr., starting for Embiid, notched 16 points, while Tyrese Maxey and De'Anthony Melton each scored 16 for the Sixers, who have now lost four of their last six games.
