Friday night, the Indiana Pacers dominantly forced a Game 7 against the New York Knicks. With 25 points from Pascal Siakam and an all-around fantastic performance from the rest of the team, the Pacers easily defeated New York 116-103. In addition to TJ McConnell's 15 points from the bench, four of Indiana's five starters scored at least 15 points throughout the contest.
Despite a strong effort by Jalen Brunson, who scored 44 points in Game 5, who scored 31 points on Friday, Indiana easily defeated New York because the rest of their supporting cast was largely ineffective. Following the game, supporters criticized the Knicks for not winning to end the series. The Pacers now have the momentum following their victory on Friday, so the Knicks will have to battle it out in a Game 7 rather than moving on to the Eastern Conference finals.
