Phoenix Suns pulled off a comeback to edge the Los Angeles Lakers 109-105

The Phoenix Suns pulled off a comeback to edge the Los Angeles Lakers 109-105 on Monday night. Devin Booker scored 33 points, while Kevin Durant added 30, leading a late rally to hand the Lakers their first loss after a three-game winning streak. Despite an early 18-point deficit, the Suns fought back, with Durant’s back-to-back jumpers securing a 105-101 lead with just over two minutes left. LeBron James hit a late 3-pointer to bring the Lakers within one, but the Suns held on.

James finished with 11 points, extending his record of scoring at least 10 points to 1,226 games, while Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 29 points and 15 rebounds. The Suns overcame Jusuf Nurkic’s quiet night; he managed only two points after a strong outing against the Mavericks. The Suns’ win marks a reversal from Friday, when the Lakers rallied to beat them.
