Phoenix Suns secured victory with a hard-fought 123-115 win over the Warriors

Despite a technical-filled and turnover-laden contest, the Phoenix Suns secured their fifth consecutive victory with a hard-fought 123-115 win over the Golden State Warriors. Kevin Durant delivered an impressive 32-point performance, complemented by Devin Booker's 25 points. Although the Suns held a commanding 83-60 lead in the third quarter, the Warriors mounted a comeback, narrowing the gap to 118-115. A technical foul on Durant added suspense, but Booker's crucial free throws with 12.4 seconds remaining sealed the Suns' triumph.

Acknowledging room for improvement, Booker emphasized the need to minimize turnovers and maintain defensive stability in late-game situations. Durant and Booker's exceptional free-throw accuracy, going 28 for 29 collectively, played a pivotal role, contributing to the Suns' 44-of-52 team free-throw performance. The Warriors, struggling with a 7-9 record, faced challenges highlighted by their coach Steve Kerr, citing difficulties in overcoming a set defense after free throws and giving up substantial points.
