Pistons were defeated by Bucks 126-117
Pistons played at home against Milwaukee Bucks team, who was missing two of their greatest players, which ordinarily meant the Pistons had a better chance of winning. That wasn't the case, though, as Khris Middleton, a 2012 Pistons draft pick, shined through from Milwaukee's starting lineup. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday, the Bucks' starters, were declared out soon before tip-off, but Middleton led the Bucks to a 126-117 victory at Little Caesars Arena with 34 points.
Detroit has now suffered six straight losses, while the first-place Bucks (54-21) have recovered after losing to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. Jaden Ivey had his most productive offensive performance of the year, scoring a career-high 32 points while adding eight rebounds and eight assists but still Pistons could not rally past Middleton and rest of the Bucks.
