Portland gave away CJ McCollum to Pelicans

Portland Trail Blazers signed away their guard CJ McCollum as the seven-player deal culminates. McCollum moves to New Orleans Pelicans with three draft selections as well. Trail Blazers get Guards Josh Hart, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Tomas Satoransky and Didi Louzada on their roster and Pelicans on the other hand get Larry Nance Jr. and Tony Snell.

Blazers received a 2022 first-round pick and two second-round picks as they let go of McCollum who has averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 36 starts in 2021-22. The team has not been doing well this season they slip to 11th place in the Western Conference sitting at 21-33 record while Pelicans have the play-in spot with 21-32 records.
