The Toronto Raptors lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the hosts, 101–11 after a sluggish start. The Timberwolves were too excellent to allow this game to slip from them, and the Raptors' problems for the majority of the game were too much to overcome, even with a strong fourth-quarter effort.
Despite the defeat, Gradey Dick of Toronto had a career-high 25 points, including 4 for 9 from the field. After a poor start, Scottie Barnes finished with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 rebounds. Unfortunately, he was erratic with the ball, committing four of his six giveaways in the first half. Ochai Agbaji finished with 19 points and a shocking 3-for-5 shooting percentage, setting a new career best for the Raptors. Julius Randle easily finished with five assists, nine rebounds, and 24 points.
