Russell Westbrook exited with a hamstring injury

Westbrook left the field in the first quarter, but it was not immediately apparent how he was hurt. Westbrook reportedly informed his coach, Darvin Ham, that he felt he would be OK after the game. Ham stated before the game that Westbrook's substitution in the Lakers' preseason finale was "not a demotion," but rather "a realignment." 

Anthony Davis missed the Lakers' last preseason game as well. According to the organization, Davis was held out of the trip to Sacramento by Los Angeles out of an abundance of caution as he continues to treat lower back discomfort. Due to a thumb injury that will keep him out of action until the next season, point guard Dennis Schroder did not participate in the game versus the Kings, according to sources who spoke to ESPN.
