Sacramento Kings secured a 131-129 victory over the San Antonio Spurs

In a thrilling contest on Thursday night, the Sacramento Kings secured a 131-129 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, with Domantas Sabonis playing a pivotal role. Sabonis contributed 31 points, including the go-ahead dunk with 7.7 seconds left, in addition to grabbing 17 rebounds and dishing out nine assists. This marked Sabonis' 45th consecutive double-double. De'Aaron Fox also played a crucial role, scoring 33 points, with 17 coming in the fourth quarter before fouling out in the final minute.

Despite missing their leading scorer Victor Wembanyama, who was sidelined with a sprained right ankle, the Spurs put up a strong fight. However, they fell to 0-7 in games without Wembanyama this season. The Kings' Malik Monk tied the game with a 3-pointer, and Sabonis sealed the win with a steal and transition dunk. San Antonio's Devin Vassell and Jeremy Sochan missed crucial shots in the final seconds.
