The Utah Jazz have signed Mo Bamba to a second 10‑day contract, continuing their evaluation of the veteran center as the season progresses. As per team policy, financial terms were not disclosed. Bamba has appeared in two games for Utah this year, averaging 5.0 points on 55.6 percent shooting and 10.0 rebounds across 19 minutes per outing. He has also been a standout for the Salt Lake City Stars, posting 16.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 assists in 22 G League games, including fourteen double‑doubles and eight performances with at least twenty points.
The Harlem native is now in his eighth NBA season after being selected sixth overall by Orlando in the 2018 draft. He logged 266 games with the Magic before brief stints with the Lakers, 76ers, Clippers, Pelicans and Raptors. Utah’s decision gives Bamba another window to prove he can secure a longer‑term role.
