On Tuesday night, LeBron James set a new NBA scoring record with 46 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one block. This incredible run, however, was not sufficient to keep the Lakers from falling to the Clippers.
The Los Angeles Clippers won easily 133-115 thanks to 19 3-pointers that they scored themselves. In this third straight Clippers victory overall, Paul George scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard chipped in 25 points.
James is the first player in NBA to score 40 points in a game while playing against every other NBA team. However, the Lake Show suffers its 10th consecutive loss to the Clippers as a result of the defeat, dropping their record to 22-26.
