Hanwha Life Esports was recently in the news when they let go of their entire roster after they put on one of their worst performance in Korea’s LCK this year. In the hopes to improve next year the team is looking to be competitive and on a search for new players. Ever since offseason kicked the team had been silent until now and have decided to bring on Team WE’s former top laner Park “Morgan” Gi-tae and Gen.G Academy’s jungler Kim “Winter” Yo-han for two years.
The players would likely be part of the starting roster. Morgan had previously worked for JD Gaming and Team WE and is coming back to LCK but was unable to place higher than sixth ranking with no Worlds experience. Winter is a better-looking prospect with a fourth-place finish in the Challengers Korea Spring Split with Spear Gaming and as part of Gen.G’s academy roster, he won the Logitech G Rookie Invitational 2020. Hanwha has a long way to go still with three more players as well as a coach.
