The 40‑year‑old coach, already one of Europe’s most influential managers, wants to ensure sessions remain completely hidden from scouts, media and potential leaks. After debuting Adrian Newey’s lighter car‑inspired upgrades in Hungary and seeing Fernando Alonso reach Q2, Bayern now aims to strengthen its competitive edge with a fully protected environment.

The structure will feature tall poles supporting a dark, anti‑spy screen made of heavy cables and an opaque covering, allowing players to work in total privacy. Kompany previously used similar measures at Burnley and personally inspected the Munich site alongside sporting director Christoph Freund after returning from the Asian tour.

His approach echoes past attempts by Pep Guardiola and Julian Nagelsmann, who installed large retractable tents, though both faced technical issues. Kompany hopes to finally solve Bayern’s long‑standing privacy challenge.
