The ultimate 2026/27 Champions League hub

The 2026/27 Champions League season is set to unfold with a packed calendar and renewed intrigue over whether any contender can disrupt PSG’s recent supremacy. Twenty‑nine clubs have already secured their place in the league phase, while seven additional spots will be filled through a multi‑round qualifying process running from early July to late August. All knockout ties in qualifying are played over two legs, culminating in decisive play‑offs on August 18–19 and 25–26.

The league phase begins on September 8–10 and stretches through eight matchdays until January 27, 2027. From there, the knockout play‑offs start in mid‑February, followed by the round of 16 in March, quarter‑finals in April and semi‑finals across late April and early May. The final will take place on June 5, 2027 at Atlético Madrid’s Estadio Metropolitano, hosting the showpiece for the second time after Liverpool’s 2019 triumph. Draw dates for each stage are set throughout summer.
