Chelsea secure Palmer's future on a long-term contract

Cole Palmer, 24, arrived at Chelsea in 2023 from Manchester City - where he claimed a Champions League winner's medal - and has since racked up an impressive 91 goals in 138 appearances, lifting both the Club World Cup and the Conference League in 2025.

"Chelsea means a lot to me and I believe the club is heading in the right direction, so I am delighted to renew and, obviously, very happy. After speaking with the owners, the sporting directors and, of course, the manager, they showed huge faith in me, so it just made total sense to sign," the England international declared.

"Speaking to the players, everyone shares the same ambition. I feel we win major silverware regularly here, and I want to be part of that and play a key role," added Palmer, who has already bagged four goals and provided two assists in the early stages of this season.
