Conte signals comeback, aims to revive a fallen giant

Antonio Conte has reignited speculation about his next managerial move by suggesting he is ready to take charge of a major club in need of renewed identity and ambition. Speaking to The Athletic, the former Juventus, Chelsea and Inter coach said several teams have “lost sight of their history” and expressed a desire to restore a fallen powerhouse where pressure and expectations remain uncompromising. Italian outlets interpreted his remarks as a clear message to Juventus, Milan and Manchester United, all enduring turbulent periods far removed from their past dominance.

Conte stressed that historical pedigree outweighs any current slump, insisting that a club’s legacy must be honoured with the ambition to compete for major trophies. He said he needs to feel the spark that convinces a team it can win again, even if only one side ultimately succeeds each season. His comments have intensified interest as he waits for the right project to match his competitive drive.
