De Bruyne determined to continue with Belgium: ‘I still feel good’

Kevin De Bruyne says he will continue playing for Belgium as long as he remains motivated, rejecting any notion of international retirement despite being the last active member of the country’s golden generation. The 35‑year‑old, who has earned 124 caps since debuting in 2010, confirmed he never considered stepping away after the World Cup. With Mark van Bommel now in charge, Belgium begin a demanding stretch featuring Italy, France and Turkey in the Nations League.

De Bruyne acknowledged recent changes, including Axel Witsel’s retirement and Thibaut Courtois’ decision to sit out the competition, but stressed he still feels physically strong and eager to contribute. He admitted these could be his final two years, though he hesitated, adding “never say never”.
