Nikola Jokic returned from an unfortunate dip in form to score 30 points to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 127-115 success over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night. Nuggets had each of the five starters in addition to Bones Hyland and Austin Rivers, who were reserves for the night, score in double figures for the team.
With just nine matches more to go coach Michael Malone was excited to see such a performance from the side, and also shared that they need to step their game up down the stretch and have Nikola perform consistently if they hope to stay competitive in the playoffs this season. Jokic pulled down a game-best 14 rebounds for his 59th double of the period as Nuggets get back to winning ways.
