Mike Brown addresses Knicks’ first-half collapse against Dallas

Dallas erupted for 75 points in the first half. Brown pinpointed three critical failures: conceding 28 points in the paint, surrendering 27 fast-break points, and allowing 9-of-11 three-point shooting.

Brown argued the issue was individual responsibility rather than tactics. "It is not about schemes. It is about doing your job and playing with physicality," he stated, noting they limited Dallas to 39 second-half points.

Frustration exists within the locker room during this four-game losing streak, but Brown retains confidence in his players. He acknowledged uncharacteristic turnovers and complex rotation decisions while praising Josh Hart’s effort. Now 25-18, the New York Knicks must regroup quickly before hosting the Brooklyn Nets. Brown finally concluded: "We must do our job completely."
