Paul George has fully embraced his new chapter with the Boston Celtics after visiting the team’s training facility for the first time following the July trade that sent him from Philadelphia to Massachusetts. The 36‑year‑old forward said he is thrilled to wear the Celtics’ iconic green and eager to begin this next phase of his career, promising to give the franchise everything he has. Boston acquired George on July 1 in the deal that moved five‑time All‑Star Jaylen Brown to the 76ers, adding two first‑round picks and two second‑rounders.
George arrives after averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 37 games last season, shooting 39.2% from deep. His perimeter threat fits alongside Jayson Tatum and Derrick White. The Celtics, second in the East last year, have reshaped the roster with Mitchell Robinson, Mike Conley and Neemias Queta. George also brings nine All‑Star selections and a First Team All‑NBA nod.
