Women’s World Cup Finals: Australia won the title

The Australians shattered records in Christchurch. Alyssa Healy scored a fantastic 170 off 138 balls, the highest score in the World cup Finals (either women's or men's). Alyssa Healy and Rachael Haynes built a partnership of 160 runs that helped Australians to put up a mammoth total of 356-5

England won the toss and decided to bowl and dropped Healy and Haynes in the same over and later on only Sciver put up a valiant fight she scored 148 not out apart from her no one spent much time on the crease and England were finally bowled out for 285. Australia won by 71 runs, spinners Alana King and Jess Jonassen took three wickets each and restricted England to reach the target.
