Mooney backs Voll to dominate

Beth Mooney is confident Georgia Voll will validate her No.1 T20I batting ranking at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. The 22‑year‑old enters her first global tournament after a rapid rise built on consistent scoring, including three half‑centuries and a maiden T20I hundred against the West Indies in March. That performance pushed her to the top of the ICC rankings and confirmed her as Australia’s next major batting force.

Mooney highlighted Voll’s early domestic experience with Queensland and Brisbane as key to her composure at international level. She praised Voll’s power, timing and ability to read length, qualities she believes will make the opener a major threat in England and Wales.
