Bad News Bears could not beat Liquid who moves ahead in cs_summit 8

Liquid fought their way to a win in all three maps as Bad News Bears gave up their lead to Liquid who won the series. Liquid has thus secured a spot in the Group B winners' match of cs_summit 8 by defeating Bad News Bears by 2-1. This is a great comeback by Liquid who have been away from the official competition by over a month after Dignitas defeated them in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. Liquid started on Mirage with a great effort that shut down Bad News Bears' efforts to enter bombsites and found a 9-1 lead later Keith "NAF" Markovic and Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski worked together to seal a win. EliGE at the end of the series had a 1.38 rating.

At Inferno Liquid could have sealed an early series win but Bad News Bears pulled ahead and tied the series. In the decider map Overpass, both the teams were tied at 12-12 until back-to-back triple kills from Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo helped Liquid back in the lead.
