An ex-LEC champion allegedly joining the Heretics

According to Marián "Eros" Stoica of Blix.GG on May 7, Heretics' academy ADC, Flakked, will join the team's main squad for the 2023 LEC Summer Split. Jackseptra, who will be going back to the academy, will be replaced by the Spaniard. If this deal goes through, Flakked will team up with Jankos once more to compete; the two of them won the 2022 LEC Spring Split. With G2, Flakked competed in the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational and the 2022 World Championship, however the squad fell short of expectations while playing its Eastern counterparts.

Heretics' season hasn't been very impressive thus far; the European squad advanced to the Group Stage during the Winter Split but was unable to do so during the Spring Split, where they finished ninth. It's hardly surprising that they're aiming to change up their lineup before the 2023 LEC Summer Split given their dismal performance in the year's first two splits.
